HealthSafe utilise innovative technology to manage daily processes and the conducting of physical compliance auditing, all of which show a clear due diligence and best practice in order to assist visitors, staff and contractors return to their families at the end of their working shift.

Our Story

HealthSafe was established by Kevin McAfee who fell in love with New Zealand, and a New Zealander. Originally from Ireland, Kevin now lives in Auckland with his wife Lisa and their young family.

After more than two decades of working within the Health and Safety and Facilities Management industries across New Zealand and the United Kingdom, it was a life changing event in Christchurch during the earthquakes that changed Kevin’s life significantly and is a major driver of why he wants to share his passion for protecting people.

The introduction of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 in New Zealand has meant that the key to compliance is to introduce and follow processes. Kevin's response to this is a vision of using technology to aid compliance and to protect the people within businesses.

HealthSafe has been providing uniforms, apparel and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the New Zealand market since 2014 under our 'CleanChem' brand. Following a significant rebrand launch on 1 May 2018, this business now operates under the HealthSafe group  as 'HealthSafe Apparel and PPE.'
